30 is 30...


THIRTY IS THIRTY!! PERIOD! It is not the new twenty! Shoot you can't even drink at 20. So why would it be the new 20??? LOL

Jay Z even has a song about it. Like to hear it?? Here it go...

I did all that by the age of 21
by 22 i had that brand new AC coupe (Acura)

I'll break this down a little!! If 30 is the the new 20 and you ain't even get started til you were 22...why do you want to go back? I think it just sounds good. Even Jigga got caught up! Now he is 40. Is that the new 30?? Or does he still want to go back to 20?
 
I KNOW I don't want to go back to 20. I mean I was about 30 lbs smaller...and I don't even want to go back to THAT! Still in school. Making no money. Acting crazy. Naw...y'all can keep that! I'll roll with thirty! Some of the best years of my life have been spent with people over 30. So I welcome myself to club! WHOOP WHOOP!! :o)
 
So who wants to be the new thirty or the regular ole thirty thirty!!?!

    Great post. I agree, time to go forward, 30 is 30, 40 is 40 and so on. It's what you make of it.

    My 30th is right around the corner. I must admit, it was a little hard to accept as time passed. But I did come to appreciate where I am now compared to where I have been. So thanks for the blog, and I am looking forward to joining the club....... in about 53 days!! LOL!!

    I love my age. Don't think I will go back and do any of them over. I have used all my other years to make this year better. I'll be 34 by the end of this year and I love it. I even have some grays and wouldn't change that either.
